Rally Sunday Brings First Lutheran Together
First Lutheran Church celebrated a wonderful Rally Sunday with a potluck brunch following worship. It was a great opportunity to gather as a church family, enjoy a delicious meal, and spend time together in fellowship.
A special thank you goes to Mike Carlson, who prepared an outstanding smoked brisket and smoked pork belly for the occasion. Along with the many dishes brought by members of the congregation,
there was certainly no shortage of food. From main dishes to sides and desserts, there was plenty for everyone to enjoy.
More importantly, Rally Sunday gave us the chance to reconnect with one another. It was good to see so many members of First Lutheran sharing a meal, visiting, laughing, and simply enjoying being together. Events like this are a reminder that our church is not only a place where we worship together, but also a community in which friendships are formed and strengthened.
Thank you to everyone who brought food, helped with preparations and cleanup, and joined us for the celebration. Your participation made Rally Sunday a great success.
And remember: Sunday School begins next Sunday! We look forward to welcoming children and families as we begin another year of learning, growing in faith, and spending time together at First Lutheran.
