Reformation Sunday!

What a wonderful Reformation Sunday at First Lutheran Church!

We were blessed to have Keith Tribley lead us in worship, and it was especially heartwarming to see so many children gathered for the Children’s Message!

Following worship, we held our Semi-Annual Congregational Meeting, where several exciting things took place!

New members of the Congregational Council were approved and the congregation voted overwhelmingly to move forward with the Kitchen and Bathroom Renovation Project! With such strong support from our church family, we look forward to seeing work begin. What an exciting step forward for First Lutheran!

We also held another question-and-answer session with the Call Committee, providing an additional opportunity for members to learn more about Rev. Dr. Wesley Khristopher Teixeira, who recently visited First Lutheran as our prospective pastor.

Looking ahead: Our congregation will gather for a special meeting immediately following worship on Sunday, November 1, to vote on extending a call to Pastor Wesley.

There is so much happening at First Lutheran, and we are excited to see what the future holds for our congregation. Thank you to everyone who continues to support, serve, and participate in the life of our church!
