Worship Service to Move to Sunday Morning's at 9AM starting June 8th, 2025!
Directly above this message there is PDF/Letter from our Church Council President, Christine Brown, offering a detailed explanation of the upcoming changes to our Worship Schedule. We encourage you to take a few moments to read her message in full, as it provides important context and insight into the decision made by the Church Council last evening.
Below is a brief excerpt from her letter to give you a quick overview.

Grace and peace to you.
At the May 13th meeting, the Church Council voted to move to one unified Sunday worship service at 9:00 AM, beginning June 8, 2025. We write today to share the heart behind this decision and to invite you into the next chapter of our life together. (see the attached PDF/Letter)
We understand this change affects long-standing routines and preferences, and we do not take that lightly. However, we believe this adjustment is a critical and faithful step forward as we seek to strengthen our congregation and prepare for the future God has in store for us.
Change is never easy, yet Scripture reminds us that God “makes all things new.” We believe this step positions our congregation to grow in faith, welcome new members, and call a pastor who can serve us well for years to come. Thank you for your flexibility, your prayers, and your commitment to being Christ’s hands in our community. “For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Gathering at 9 AM marks a new season for First Lutheran—one that will deepen our fellowship and sharpen our mission. We look forward to greeting you in the pews and discovering what God has in store for us, united and renewed.
We are grateful for the trust you place in us and look forward to worshiping side-by-side with you at 9 AM.
With hope and gratitude,
Christine Brown, President
