First Lutheran September Newsletter!

ree

As summer fades and September begins, our church family is full of life and activity!

This month’s newsletter reminds us that just as students head back to school, we too are called to “sharpen our pencils” daily in God’s Word, growing in faith and keeping our spiritual toolboxes ready to share His love with others (1 Peter 2:1-3).

At Noah’s Ark Preschool, classes are filled with smiling little ones ready to learn and grow. We give thanks for Breanne’s five years of leadership as Director and joyfully welcome Christine Brown into this role. Please keep her and the teachers in your prayers as they begin this new chapter.

Our congregation is also busy collecting school supplies for children around the world, supporting the Livingston County Food Pantry, quilting ministries, Bible studies, and many fellowship opportunities. From choir rehearsals to quilting days, euchre nights to Joyful Women’s Bible study, there are so many ways to stay connected.

Let us continue to pray for those on our prayer list, for our preschool families, and for all who begin a new season of learning, teaching, and serving.

Thank you for being part of a church that is truly “Worshiping Christ, Serving Our Neighbor.”
