Pontiac First Lutheran Church Upcoming Events

Pontiac First Lutheran Church has an exciting lineup of events and worship opportunities to kick off the new year. Worship services this weekend include a Traditional Worship Service on Saturday, January 11, at 5:30 pm, as well as services on Sunday, January 12, at 8:00 am and 10:30 am. Sunday School classes for all ages will be held at 9:15 am, offering learning and fellowship for the entire family.

Throughout the week, there are opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth, including the Comforting Ladies group meeting on Tuesday, January 14, at 1:00 pm, followed by the Church Council Meeting at 7:00 pm. Adult Bible Studywill meet twice on Wednesday, January 15, at 9:30 am and 6:00 pm, with Confirmation Class at 7:00 pm. The Choir will gather for practice on Thursday, January 16, at 6:00 pm.

Looking ahead, the Comforting Ladies will meet again on Saturday, January 18, at 9:00 am, followed by another Traditional Worship Service at 5:30 pm. On Tuesday, January 22, the popular Come Eat Out (CEO) event will take place at Bob & Ringo’s Grill & Smokehouse starting at 5:30 pm.

Don’t forget that the Newsletter Deadline is Friday, January 24, and mark your calendar for the Annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday, January 26, at 11:30 am.
