Over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, our church gathered for two candlelight services on Wednesday, December 24, at 4:00 and 7:00 p.m., followed by worship on Christmas Day. Across those three services, more than 270 people joined us. It was encouraging to see so many families, friends, and visitors worshiping together.
The candlelight service is simple and intentional. We begin in darkness and end in light to reflect the message of Christmas: Christ enters a broken and uncertain world and brings light that endures. Passing the candle from person to person reminds us that faith is shared.
We are thankful for Pastor Jay Johnson and his wife for leading our services. Their time, wisdom, and prayerful leadership were deeply appreciated, and we are grateful for the care they showed our congregation throughout the season.
It was also good to see so many children present in worship. Their energy and presence are a reminder that the Christmas story continues to shape the next generation.
We invite both returning worshipers and those new to our church to join us this Sunday and every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Children’s Sunday School follows at 10:25 a.m. We would be glad to have you worship with us.
