F.R.O.G. Youth Fall Event Brings Faith, Fun, and Fellowship!
What do you get when you combine games, laughter, creativity, and a little friendly competition? A hopping good time at First Lutheran Church!
On Friday, November 6, First Lutheran Church in Pontiac welcomed children for our F.R.O.G. (Fully Rely On God) Youth Fall Event! The evening was filled with fun, friendship, and plenty of smiles as kids gathered for a night of activities centered around our theme of trusting in God.
One of the highlights of the evening was a Thanksgiving-themed game of “Pin the Feathers on the Turkey!” Blindfolded participants took turns trying to place colorful feathers on a turkey, with some very creative results!
Children also enjoyed coloring, snacks, games, and time to catch up with friends and make new ones. From our youngest participants to our older elementary students, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Most importantly, the evening was another opportunity to bring our young people together in a welcoming, faith-filled environment where friendships can grow and everyone is reminded that we can Fully Rely On God!
A special thank-you goes out to everyone who helped organize the event especially Tonya Wilcox and Vicki Day who, provided refreshments, supervised activities, and made the evening possible. We're grateful for the opportunity to offer these experiences to the children and families of our church and community.
If you missed this F.R.O.G. event, don't worry—there's more fun to come!
Be on the lookout for announcements about our next youth gathering at First Lutheran Church! We look forward to more opportunities for faith, fun, fellowship, and making memories together.
