We invite you to join us for a week filled with worship, fellowship, and community at First Lutheran Church! Our weekend begins on Saturday, February 8, with the Comforting Ladies gathering at 9:00 a.m., followed by our Traditional Worship Service at 5:30 p.m. On Sunday, February 9, we offer a Traditional Worship Service at 8:00 a.m., Sunday School for all ages at 9:15 a.m., and a Contemporary Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. After worship, our Caring Committee will meet at 12:00 p.m.
During the week, the Comforting Ladies will meet again on Tuesday, February 11, at 1:00 p.m., followed by a Church Council Meeting at 7:00 p.m. On Wednesday, February 12, we offer two Adult Bible Study sessions at 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., along with Confirmation Class at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 13, features Choir rehearsal at 6:00 p.m. and Men in Mission at 7:00 p.m., where venison stew will be served. As always, Friday, February 14, is Pastor’s regular day off. Looking ahead to Saturday, February 15, the Comforting Ladies meet once again at 9:00 a.m., and we gather for Traditional Worship at 5:30 p.m.
Upcoming Events
Looking ahead, we invite you to Euchre Night on Monday, February 17, at 6:30 p.m., followed by a Grief Support Group gathering at The Break Room at 7:00 p.m. The deadline for our next church newsletter is Friday, February 21. On Sunday, February 23, the Call Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. For those involved in leadership, the CEO Group will meet at Mario’s Pizza on Tuesday, February 25, at 5:30 p.m., and our Church Council Retreat is scheduled for Saturday, March 8, from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Lastly, the Mission/Social Committee will meet on Monday, March 24, at 4:00 p.m.
