Confirmation Class 2026–2027

First Lutheran Church is preparing to begin our 2026–2027 Confirmation Class on Sunday, September 20. Classes will meet each Sunday following worship, approximately 10:25–11:25 a.m. 

Times may vary slightly depending on the length of the worship service.

This year’s confirmation students are Roy Alvey, Jace Bressner, Jenna Bressner, Liam Lawrence, Izzy Pittenger, and Karter Shephard. Please keep these young people in your prayers as they continue to grow in their understanding of the Christian faith and what it means to live as followers of Christ.

Our confirmation teachers this year are Mike Carlson and Ray Setterund, with pastoral guidance from Pastor Rasmussen. We are grateful for their willingness to teach, encourage, and walk alongside our students throughout the year.

The year will culminate with Confirmation Day on Palm Sunday, March 21, 2027, during the 9:00 a.m. worship service, officiated by Pastor Rasmussen.

We invite the entire congregation to pray for our students, their teachers, and our pastors as they journey together in faith.
